Many believers in Jesus know about abiding in the Vine in John 15, but few realize what "stay in My love" means. This command there seems so easy to obey and fulfill, but Jesus surrounded it with two analogies. Examining it and its context closer reveals this command's key point: to live like Jesus lived on earth in a key way - our opportunity to live as Jesus did, in fellowship with our Father God with obedience from love. Some believers realize our great opportunity from John 15 or other Scriptures, but who realizes that this is a theme of John's whole Gospel and 1John? English readers do not see this theme because a translation of "ina" has veiled how well-known verses relate to John 15's staying in Jesus. We can see this theme and a better meaning of 22 verses with John's ina meaning "so that" instead of a shorter "that" or "to". We can also see more of a believer's foundation needed for his/her life on earth: ina's "so that" meaning reveals sources of 25 vital outcomes and shows an unfulfilled source as the reason why most of us have not fully moved into them.
