Hank Pressman, a disgraced psychiatrist looking for redemption, finds himself in a tornado ravaged, Midwestern town that needs his help. Unexpectedly, he finds friends, romance and murder in STORM DAMAGE. In the ruins of the small farm community of Amber Creek, a young woman's body is found but she doesn't appear to be a victim of the tornado. Hank agrees to help the police and the local doctor, an attractive divorced woman, to investigate the death. The discovery of three more bodies, buried in shallow graves in the local church cemetery, turns the investigation into the search for a serial killer among the townsfolk. This is the second psychological thriller featuring Dr. Pressman, an alcoholic with a history of marital infidelity and medical misconduct.

Autorenporträt

I am Tom Boxleiter, a retired psychiatrist with many years of experience and many colleagues who have provided inspiration for fiction. Of course, I don't reference any actual patients or case information in my fiction. I hope that my ability to give some insight into how a modern psychiatrist plies his trade and the fact that he has the same human foibles as everyone else, may be of interest to readers. I have written for years and have published two novesl, "Boundary Issues" and the sequel "Storm Damage". Also, I have gotten recognition in an international one act playwriting contest, DBQOneActs, with the submission of five plays.
