Denise Kanfer-Steinhauer ist Ärztin für Allgemeinmedizin, verheiratet und Mutter zweier erwachsener Kinder. Schon in der Kindheit begann sie, an Kinderbüchern und Gedichten zu arbeiten. Das Buch "Sturm über Bananien" ist die Geschichte einer kleinen Banane und ihr Herzensprojekt.
