Produktbeschreibung
John wrote his gospel to give us a ringside seat from which to watch the Galilean carpenter whose message changed the world. Mark writes to tell us WHAT Jesus did, and Matthew and Luke write to explain WHY Jesus did it, but John's main concern is to help us discover WHO Jesus is and what it means for us to follow him today.

'Straight to the Heart of John', by popular Bible teacher and scholar Phil Moore, shoots a theological arrow through the Gospel of John, plucking out the most important teachings and presenting them to the populous as a readable and down-to-earth Bible commentary.

Both biblically accurate and jargon-free, the 'Straight to the Heart' series has aimed to deliver scholarly work in a readable and understandable format. Phil Moore, the author of this growing series, masterfully captures fascinating scholarship and puts them on the pages of his devotional book.

Instead of leafing through confusing commentaries, people can read this punchy and relevant book that's covered in theological gems and scholarly riches. The 60 bite-size chapters allow readers to ingest the knowledge in small chunks, helping everything sink into your daily life and Bible reading.

Welcome to a new way of reading the Bible with fresh eyes.
