George Ochoa's short fiction has been published in North American Review, Eureka Literary Magazine, Eunoia Review, Bangalore Review, and elsewhere. He is the author or coauthor of thirty-five nonfiction books, including the New York Public Library's Book of Answers, The Writer's Guide to Creating a Science Fiction Universe, The American Film Institute Desk Reference, and Deformed and Destructive Beings: The Purpose of Horror Films. This is his first novel.
