Horowitz, MD, is a distinguished professor of psychiatry at the University of California at San Francisco, President of the San Francisco Center for Psychoanalysis, and Past-President of the Society for Psychotherapy Research. Dr. Horowitz's books include A Course in Happiness and Grieving as Well as Possible.
