In his earlier book The Shepherd and His Staff, Theodore Mistra recounts his personal relationship with Jesus Christ, as he discovers his highest calling is to be a shepherd leader in all areas of his life.

Surrounded by Angels is his personal life testimony describing a life-threatening cancer that brought him to a new awareness of angelic help. Theodore Mistra, (a pen name) serves as chairman of the board and chief executive officer for a life sciences company with hundreds of employees and approximately a hundred million dollars in annual sales. He is the graduate of an Ivy League business school. Ted and his wife are the parents of three children.

Theodore Mistra (a pen name) is chairman and CEO of a $100 million life science company. He has been a guest lecturer at various colleges and universities, and he has served as a church elder, church planter, and Bible study teacher. He is married and has three adult children. Although the author uses a pen name, he is available to personally share his experience with those who seek and need encouragement and hope in their own struggle with life whether personal, professional, or spiritual.
