Produktbeschreibung
Between the glistening turquoise oceans and the vine-covered hillsides is a mystical location. There are tall people and wee people who coexist peacefully in the Vales. Where shy giants use rainbows as a slide and reside in clouds. Where animals actually communicate. Where the wee people live in tiny hamlets along maze walls, and where Purple Dragons named Max spend their days eating teacakes.

A young girl rediscovers her Grammy's stories, but when some of them come true, she starts to question herself.

Is the best friend of her Grammy's a real dragon?

Grandmother Christine wrote this collection of stories to show herself that, despite having crippling dyslexia and little formal education, she was capable of writing. She hoped to share these stories with her grandchildren after giving herself five years, but they never came, so she is sharing these little tales with you instead. The Vales is a real place in the Fleurieu Peninsula area, surrounded by vines. Since she lived there for a few years, she has woven the history of the neighborhood, its children, and its major events into each story.

She happily tells a tall person these little tales so that the tall person can tell them to a little one.

Since she had no grandchildren of her own, she established a secure space where school-age children could express themselves and publish themselves.

Autorenporträt
**Grandmother Christine**

Christine was illiterate for much of her life, and discovering she had dyslexia presented a significant challenge. However, by pushing through her obstacles, she found not only joy but also the opportunity to share her journey of discovery through literature.

She began writing at the age of 60, a dream she had believed was impossible for her to achieve. Today, she is an accomplished writer and is passionate about sharing her love of reading and writing with others through her charity, Create My Book Challenge, which benefits both children and adults.
