The reader will be especially engaged with the story due to the narrator's unique style in poetry format in conveying an important message of the power of technology and its' ill effects through over-use. Her background of experience with writing comes through her many years teaching English and Language Arts in secondary schools. As a drama teacher, she has written specialized plays and skits for her students to perform. Hosting Poetry Nights and Family History Events, the author has used her own writing to highlight the needs and education of her students and encouraged them to also use writing to express themselves as well. She has also frequently attended writing workshops and seminars.
