Barry Jones is a moderately successful novelist who has a girlfriend, Susan Hunting, who is a leading journalist for a large newspaper in Cardiff, the capital city of Wales.

In her work she comes across a big scoop story relating to a prominent Welsh Government minister at the National Senedd Assembly, the debating centre of the Welsh Parliament. Her leading article on the matter brings her into a lot of trouble.

Meanwhile, Barry, falls for a glamorous blonde woman, Margaret, at a gym he uses to try bring him up to speed with his fitness. With her attractive feautures Barry thinks she's good enough to be a fashion model. Almost instantly when they meet up at the gym he fancies her so much that he wants to have sex with her. Then he discovers she is bisexual, which causes him mental anguish.

This story tells of how these relationships progress and the eventual conclusion.

I was born in Wales, but have lived in Spain, Majorca, the western highlands of Scotland and the Wye Valley.
