Jen Phillips is the author of the Tessa the Tank series of books for children.

As well as writing and drawing, she enjoys board games, dabbles in various crafts and plays the violin and guitar.

Born and brought up in Carlisle, she studied at Durham university. She currently lives in Stoke-on-Trent with her husband and two children.
