Karl El-Koura lives with his family in Canada's capital city, holds a second-degree black belt in Okinawan Goju Ryu karate, and works a regular job in daylight while writing fiction at night. In 2012, he independently published his debut novel, Father John vs the Zombies. He published the sequel, Bishop John vs the Antichrist, in 2015, and the final novel in the trilogy, St. John vs Death, in 2024.
