In the wake of another shifter's bloody revival of a 200-year-dead tradition, the self-proclaimed autocrat starts preaching blood purity. Tashi's world is quickly becoming a powder keg, and the one holding the match is the vampire who made her an orphan.

Tashi's only chance at preventing an explosive outcome involves allying herself with supposedly reformed hunters, but not all of them are ready to recognize Tashi's humanity. If they can't learn to put aside old prejudices, both of their worlds will fall into chaos.

Autorenporträt

Zan (ze/they) is a neurodivergent, disabled queer located in Richmond, VA (as of this book's publication). Ze received a BFA in Creative Writing in 2012 and a Certificate of Graduate Studies in Sociolinguistics in 2014. Rather than finish zir masters program, however, ze decided to ditch academia life and work with shelter dogs instead. Ze has spent the past decade learning everything ze can about dog behavior (in particular the intersection of health and behavior) in order to help dogs of all kinds and the people who love them.
