Ephraim Gazit is a native of Tel Aviv, Israel. He pursued medical studies at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, specializing in pediatrics at Sheba Medical Center. As a pediatric specialist, he furthered his expertise in immunology in the United States. His contributions to the field included the publication of numerous scientific papers, culminating in his appointment as a full professor at the Faculty of Medicine at Tel Aviv University.
