The Book of the Watchers narrates the fallen angels' descent to earth, their corruption of humanity, and Enoch's heavenly journeys. This text profoundly influenced Jewish and Christian apocalyptic traditions and remains central to Ethiopian Orthodox theology.

Perfect for scholars, theology students, and anyone interested in ancient Jewish literature, Second Temple period texts, and the historical development of biblical traditions.

Autorenporträt
Toshi Clifton65's interest in Jewish literature began during his university years studying law, when he encountered Isaiah Ben-Dasan's "The Japanese and the Jews." This sparked a deep fascination with Jewish thought and history, leading him to explore extensively the works of Rabbi Marvin Tokayer on Jewish philosophy and tradition.

His career in financial technology spans from the late 1980s through the 2000s, working with Japanese corporations in European capital markets. He contributed to the development of derivatives markets for Japanese government bonds and Nikkei index, as well as the establishment of credit default swap and syndicated loan markets. From 1991 to 1993, he worked as a computer technician for a news agency in London's financial district.

This unique combination of interests in Jewish apocalyptic literature and practical experience in international finance brings a distinctive perspective to his scholarly work on the Book of Enoch.
