She cleans his father's office at night. He's the heir to a company that profits from deporting people like her.
When Sofia finds Ethan's worn copy of Camus beneath a CEO's desk, she doesn't expect to meet him hours later-drunk, brilliant, and curious. He shouldn't notice her. She shouldn't trust him. But something begins.
In a city that shines for some and hunts others, two people from opposite sides of the system risk everything for something that feels like truth.
The Border Between Us is not just a love story-it's a quiet rebellion. Against broken laws. Against golden cages.

Against the idea that some people matter more than others.

If you've ever fallen in love at the wrong time, in the wrong place, with someone the world said you shouldn't-this novel is for you.

Autorenporträt
I'm Dmytro Kurovskyi. I used to live at the crossroads of worlds traveling, listening, recording. I watched people quietly, collecting their stories, trying to read what hides behind glances and half-smiles.

But when russia launched its full-scale war against Ukraine, I left almost everything behind to stand for freedom, for people, and against tyranny. Today, I serve as an officer in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. I had to trade words for commands, and rhymes for the silence that follows air raid sirens and distant explosions.

I write about the things that leave a mark. About people who lose and find. About love that hurts and refuses to let go. About time that never asks permission. Each text is a fragment of my experience sometimes my pain. And maybe... yours too.
