Ten-year-old Bree Thorne is unhappy to spend her summer vacation at the Lychhurst Hospital Daycare that her mother runs. Things get better when she befriends two more kids her age stuck in the same boat. As Bree and her friends communicate with the boy, they research the horrible history of the hospital wing before it became a daycare. When boy's tragic history is uncovered, the daycare kids must choose whether to set the ghost free, or leave him trapped in Limbo.

Formerly an auto-mechanic, Brooklyn Ann Butler writes supernatural horror with a variety of themes and tones, including campy schlock, chilling ghost stories, and coming of age.

Her works include short ghost stories for the HOH anthologies, feminist stories for women in horror anthologies, and full length works such as the Final Couples series, horror romances that follow 80s horror movie plots, but with a Final Couple instead of a Final Girl, as well as urban fantasy and paranormal series under the pen name Brooklyn Ann.

She lives in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho with her family, a few project cars, an extensive book collection, and miscellaneous horror memorabilia.
