Autorenporträt
Penny Hark is a children's author, mother, and passionate advocate for neurodiversity and inclusion. She writes gentle, meaningful stories that help children feel seen, valued, and understood especially those who experience the world a little differently.

The Boy in the Bobble Hat series was inspired by her son, who wanted to see more stories featuring children like him. Through his perspective, Penny learned to appreciate the unique ways neurodivergent minds experience the world, and she weaves that understanding into every story she tells.

When she's not writing, Penny can be found gardening on her allotment, exploring beaches, or simply being surrounded by nature.
