About the Author
Ruben J. Najera crafts narratives that exist within the intersection of memory and mythology.

Ruben was born in Sunnyside, Washington, while the streets of Sacramento shaped him before he moved to Salt Lake City where he draws from his lifelong creative journey. His storytelling extends through multiple disciplines as he performs as an actor and musician while writing songs and scripts and finally turning his passion for narrative into published works.

Ruben uses his two decades of customer service leadership experience to discover the human element within spontaneous interactions which now permeate his fictional writing. His debut novel, The Breathless Sky, begins the Feathered Rebirth series: The narrative of the Feathered Rebirth series unfolds as a majestic poetic journey derived from Mayan mythology which finds its new existence in a fragmented world that has moved away from its origins.

He crafts his writing in the gaps that exist between different roles he assumes and the cities he inhabits as well as the multiple versions of himself.
He had never experienced stories similar to this during his childhood.
So he made one.
