2007 geboren, lebt Alina Steinke mit ihrer Familie in Recklinghausen. Derzeit besucht sie das Gymnasium. Trotz ihres jungen Alters hat sie neben der schulischen Ausbildung bereits einige Arbeitserfahrung in Praktika sammeln können, zum Beispiel in der Floristik und Kinderbetreuung. Alina Steinke fährt gerne Fahrrad, spielt Fußball, singt, vertieft sich in spannende Bücher und lebt Ihre Kreativität aus. Ihre große Leidenschaft ist aber das Schreiben. Schon in der Grundschule begann sie, Geschichten zu schreiben und hat auch schon am Literaturfestival "lit.kid.RUHR" teilgenommen. Außerdem ist sie in der Schülerbibliothek ihres Gymnasiums tätig. "Die Schmetterlingsfreunde und das Geheimnis der alten Wassermühle" ist ihr Debütwerk.
