Robin Schadel is a former medieval literature and folklore professor who transitioned into being an author of urban fantasy, gothic fantasy, paranormal romance, and now gothic horror. She also works as a freelance editor. She speaks, reads, and/or writes 11 living and dead languages. In her spare time, she binges paranormal investigation shows, bakes, plays Magic: the Gathering, enjoys coffee shop and cafe lunches, and annoying/playing with her two black cats Salem and Pickle.
