Next, Douglas meets the charming country lass Giang again but, while the two of them are chilling at her house, a mind-boggling event occurs that no one could have anticipated.

In the third installment, Nguyet invites Douglas in her role as a realtor to look at the homes she sells in the suburbs. Naturally, his muse uses all her assets to persuade him to make a purchase, before he bumps into her downtown, in the final episode. Nguyet is showing properties to a client, who seems to admire her. Although Douglas is jealous, he wonders if their chance encounter couldn't be turned into a brief titillating sensual adventure.

As varied as all the stories are, they have one theme in common: Ultimately, they are life-affirming efforts on the part of the Vietnamese women to free themselves from the rigid moral norms of their post-socialist society. All light-hearted novellas are told in a revealing, tongue-in-cheek manner and, in passing, offer glimpses into Vietnamese culture. Without taboos, all episodes explore the sources and dynamic of erotic desire and lure the reader under the spell of an exotic world.

The author of this extensive series of erotic stories has been enjoying Southeast Asia for ten years now. After living in Germany and the U.S. for most of his life, Douglas ventured in the opposite direction in 2010: first, he taught at a community college in the South Seas for three years, before settling in Vietnam. Naturally, all novellas reflect his undying love for young Southeast Asian women.
