Titti Marrone is an award-winning Italian journalist and author whose literary works have been translated into multiple languages. She lives and works in Naples where she teaches history and languages of journalism at the Suor Orsola Benincasa University of Naples.

For The Children of Lingfield House, published in Italian as Se solo il mio cuore fosse pietra, she won the Croce prize and the Napoli prize.
