The Seestar S50 and S30 are fast becoming the most popular and affordable smart telescopes in the world. Until now, however, the only way to learn how to use them was to watch YouTube videos posted by other users, or to tap your way through short tutorials in the Seestar app.

But what if the Seestar actually came with a manual?

One of the foremost trainers in the world is about to provide you with just that... a complete reference to the Seestar from ZWO.

You will learn how to get the most out of your telescope, using techniques that will get you over any hurdle and up to speed in no time.

David leaves all the techno-speak behind and, instead, treats the whole book as if it were just you and him out in the yard shooting images with the Seestar. By breaking each topic down into simple, easy-to-follow, illustrated steps, you will learn:

  • How to set up and start using your Seestar in minutes.
  • How to select objects and start capturing incredible deep-sky objects.
  • How to program the telescope to shoot unattended while you're snug in bed.
  • How to capture images and videos of the Moon, Sun, planets, and scenery, including solar and lunar eclipses.
  • How to stack images captured over multiple nights to produce images that rival telescopes costing thousands of dollars.
  • How to keep your Seestar running smoothly - and what to do if things go wrong.

Autorenporträt
David Cohn is an award-winning architect, photographer, and writer, who has spent decades teaching people how to use complex CAD/CAM/CAE and BIM software. But it just so happens that he is also an avid amateur astronomer, who once ground the mirror and built his own 8-inch Newtonian reflector telescope. He was also a long-time member of Amateur Astronomers, Inc. (AAI), the organization that operates the William Miller Sperry Observatory. He is the author of more than a dozen books on CAD and desktop publishing, and has now turned his attention back to his original passion... astronomy.
