This book honors the life and work of the late W. Barnett Pearce, a leading theorist in the communication field. The book is divided into four sections. Stephen W. Littlejohn is emeritus professor at Humboldt State University and now serves as adjunct professor and lecturer at the University of New Mexico. Sheila McNamee is professor of communication at the University of New Hampshire and vice president of the Taos Institute.
