Autorenporträt

Vor ihrer Karriere als Autorin arbeitete Bärbel Mohr (5.7.1964 - 29.10.2010) als freiberufliche Fotografin, Redakteurin und Grafikerin. 1995 begann sie hobbymäßig für eine Zeitschrift zu schreiben. Bestellungen beim Universum verteilte sie zunächst als Handkopie an Freunde und Bekannte, ehe es als Buch erschien und zum Bestseller wurde.
Neben ihren zahlreichen Lebenshilfebüchern veröffentlichte sie auch zu Themen wie alternative Energieformen, Heilungsansätze, Wirtschaftsmodelle, Erziehungsformen und paranormale Phänomene, reiste nach Bangladesh zu Muhammad Yunus, dem Gründer der Bank für die Armen (Grameen), lange bevor dieser den Friedensnobelpreis erhielt, interviewte Millionäre, um deren Erfolgsformel zu entschlüsseln, erkannte Krisen als Chance, untersuchte, ob es möglich ist, arbeitlos und trotzdem glücklich zu sein.
Sie trat in Talkshows auf, gab Seminare im In- und Ausland, schrieb auch Kinderbücher, Romane und Drehbücher, produzierte Videos und Hörbücher.
