Erin isn't a hurtful person. She's a talented young concert pianist with plenty of friends. Why, then, did the man in the fedora come knocking on her door early one morning? How did she end up here in this place, held as a prisoner somewhere between a terrifying reality and her own, visceral dreams? Where IS 'here', and who are the inhuman monsters subjecting her to such vicious torment? Did she do something unforgivable in a past life, or is her relentless suffering simply the cost of living? Written by the author of 'Trapping Honey'. Cover by Dawn Bevins Design.

Autorenporträt
Karen was an avid reader as a child and into her teens, always feeling like she had a book in her somewhere, waiting to come out. One day (many years later!) an idea started to take shape, so she decided to try and write that novel that had been calling to her.
Somewhere along the way, she stumbled across the sport of Roller Derby and fell in love. Wanting to tell the world about this community of fierce, loyal, empowering women, her first self-published novel, Bring the Thunder, was born.

Bring the Thunder is a thriller falling somewhere between YA & a classic adult-orientated fiction piece, with a spattering of Roller Derby thrown in.

With a degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Karen's day job has always involved electronic design, and more recently expanded to include taking on the running of the R&D company where she has worked since leaving the University of Leicester in 2002.

As well as reading, writing, and roller derby, Karen enjoys archery, loves watching movies, going to rock concerts, & family days out with her husband and two daughters.
