Jim Petipas is an award-winning children's author, illustrator, and songwriter whose The Cows Go Moo! series blends playful, rhyming, storytelling with original music to help kids laugh, learn, and connect. A lifelong maker-drawing since childhood and playing music on stages across New England-Jim brings each book to life with his own art, lyrics, and recordings, along with his work as drummer for the Boston-based band Broken Daisies.Beyond his creative work, Jim is an adolescent counselor and former youth pastor, known for using creativity, humor, and heart to support kids and families. He lives near Boston with his family, and their spirited dog, Earl.
