The narrative "The Diary of the Couch" is written by the French writer of the end of the X¿¿, beginning of the XX century Saussé Victorienne. A small author's narrative was translated from French in 1907 in St Petersburg by the unknown translator. The narration is done from the behalf of the ordinary couch, which for many years has been standing in the room of the incorrigible Lovelace. During all its "life" it has penetrated to its owner love affairs to such an extent that it decided to write the peculiar memoirs.
