He gained fame with books such as 'The Four Just Men' (1905) and 'The Door with Seven Locks' (1926), highlighting his mastery of suspense and the detective fiction genre. 'The Door with Seven Locks', in particular, is an exemplary work of Wallace's signature blend of mystery, thriller, and detective elements.
