Loud chanting voices plus dreams of falling into fire or watching others surrounded by fire were some of the dreams that plagued Keori, the dwarfson (half dwarf, half human) that is the main character in this book. He is informed by a wizard that he is a Borned-One, chosen by and connected to the universe where he obtains his amazing powers. At first his self-doubt interferes with him believing in himself. He acquires friends who assist him in his journey where creatures like the ice witch and the inn keeper, Chatar, try to imprison him. His friends help him escape. There are many other escapades. Most importantly is his and the large army of humans, dwarves and trolls fighting together to defeat the Marauder and his hordes. Slowly in his seeking he begins to find himself and at the end, leaves to go to Mt. Ternary to meditate and connect with the universe.

Growing up, I lived with my family on a small, ten-acre farm. We had a garden and raised many animals. But the best part of the farm was the woods behind. My siblings and I build forts, castles, log cabins, etc. We found dragons, trolls, elves, dwarves, and many other creatures in the woods! We battled some with the help of others. And so my story telling began. Also I made clubs for the neighborhood kids. I made simple stappled books, one for each child. I definitely had a creative childhood. When I grew up I taught school for forty years and enjoyed every minute. Now I travel with my friend and also read lots of books. I write a lot too. This is my first published book .
