Martin Luther described Paul's Epistles to the Romans or Romans as the "most important piece in the New Testament" and "well worth a Christian's while, not only to memorize it word for word but also to occupy himself with it daily, as though it were the daily bread of the soul." Acts of the Apostles or Acts discusses Jesus' resurrection and ascension and the ministry of the original Twelve Apostles, in addition to Paul's conversion and the extension of Christianity through him to the "remotest part of the earth."
