Born in Fayoum Governorate in 1987, Egypt. He graduated from Al-Alsun College, Russian Language Department, in 2008. He has published seven novels (Breaking the Rhythm - The Melting Season - The Waters of the Soul - In the Place of Love - The World on My Body - The Last Words of Yunus - The Last Meeting) in addition to this novel. He has also translated more than twenty books, most of them from Russian, the most notable of which is his translation of Lev's diaries. The Complete Tolstoy in six huge volumes issued by Afaq Publishing and Distribution in Cairo. He won some awards in the field of novels, such as the Ihsan Abdel Quddus Award for his novel: Season of the Thaw in 2012 AD.
