Doctors orders had Dan taking a hike in the woods. He'd been told it would do wonders for his mental state and bonus, he could lose a few pesky pounds around the middle. No one had told him that he was more likely to sprain his ankle and fall down an embankment. And yet, here he was. Stuck in a makeshift jail cell surrounded by these women. Well, sorta. While as be he could tell the top was like a woman, their legs were covered in a soft layer of fur and ended in hooves. Either way, he had to admit, it was more attention from the opposite sex than he'd had in years. Come to think of it, he hadn't seen any males around just yet.

Autorenporträt
JC Winchester grew up reading just about anything he could get his hands on, from cereal boxes to the Hardy Boys. He loves most forms of fiction, particularly fantasy and military sci-fi, with some of his favorite authors including John Ringo, Robert Jordan, and Tom Clancy.

After several years in the Navy he enrolled in a community college and eventually to a university in the mountains. There he settled down, savoring a life not filled with the noises of the city but instead the sounds of bellowing cattle.

When not writing he can usually be found taking care of the horses on his place, riding, hiking, fishing, or the never ending task of splitting firewood.
