The Forgotten Ones of Ashford is a mystery story about memory, friendship, and the quiet fear of being erased.

The Forgotten Ones of Ashford is a mystery story about memory, friendship, and the quiet fear of being erased.

In the peaceful town of Ashford, everything seems ordinary until people start to disappear. Not just missing but forgotten completely. No one remembers their names, their faces, or that they ever existed at all.

But Riya does. So do her two best friends, Aarav and Neha.

The more they try to understand what's happening, the deeper they fall into a web of buried secrets, vanishing clues, and a curse that's been waiting in silence for centuries. Somewhere in the shadows, something watches them, and it wants to make them forget too.

This is a story about holding on to what matters when the world tries to erase it. A story for anyone who's ever felt invisible and wanted to be seen.

Autorenporträt
Tanvi Sai Akella has always been drawn to the mysteries that hide in everyday life the things unsaid, the feelings unexplained, and the strange questions no one asks out loud. She began writing The Forgotten Ones of Ashford to explore what it means to be remembered in a world that sometimes forgets too easily. Her stories are rooted in deep emotion, quiet suspense, and the strength of young people discovering who they really are.Tanvi writes with heart, curiosity, and a love for characters who feel real even when surrounded by the unreal. Outside of writing, she enjoys late-night singing session, dance and always exploring forgotten corners of the internet, and spending time with books that make her think long after the last page. This is her debut novel-and the first of many stories she hopes will stay with readers long after they finish them.
