Reader Note: This novella is a complete story but is best appreciated when read as part of the series, and especially Book 1, The Old Cedar Chest. Readers who will enjoy this book like strong Christian characters who live their faith when encountering challenges and supernatural settings. Fans of Robert Whitlow's books should enjoy the Strange Sands Series.

Pamela Poole's love for the LowCountry of South Carolina inspires all her books and paintings, so she describes her work as "Southern Ambiance." She and her husband live in the Hilton Head, SC area, where they enjoy walks on the beach, palm trees, magnolias, and wildlife around the lagoon in their backyard. She's a mother of two adult children and Gigi to a grandson on earth and a granddaughter in heaven.

Pamela writes clean fiction from a Christian worldview, which is unusual in today's tepid inspirational book markets. She's an introvert but loves talking about Jesus and the Bible, especially as it applies to real life and history. Her certificate in Preternatural Morphology from the Institute of Biblical Anthropology helps her with the research for her books.
