Autorenporträt
Günter Buhlke, geboren 1934 in Berlin, blickt nach 75 Jahren im Arbeitsleben auf eine Vielzahl an Erfahrungen zurück: Nach seinem Studium der Volkswirtschaft mit der Spezialisierung Außenwirtschaft hat er unter anderem als Handelsrat in Mexiko und Venezuela und als Direktor der Staatlichen Plankommission der DDR gearbeitet. Als wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter im Haushaltsausschuss hat er wertvolle Einblicke in das Parlamentswesen gewonnen, bevor er Direktor des Schweizer Kaufmannsverbands und Vorstand einer Wohngenossenschaft wurde. Der Blickwinkel, den er in seinen Werken vermittelt, ist stets aus einer wirtschaftlichen Perspektive geprägt, befasst sich aber ebenso mit sozialen Aspekten. Die Zeit nach dem aktiven Berufsleben nutzt Buhlke für ehrenamtliche Tätigkeiten bei verschiedenen Institutionen. Das vorliegende Buch ist eines von mehreren Sachbüchern, die er zu seinem favorisierten Thema bereits verfasst hat.
