Diane has been involved in the criminal justice system for over 35 years in various disciplines from assisting young offenders on deterrence programs prior to court intervention, to being a voice for indigenous women behind bars, to assisting refugees and people under deportation. With studies in forensics and a degree in criminology. The Harvest intertwines both studies.

Diane has a small side-line business making healthy treats for dogs and has a soft spot for homeless animals. Her life is shared with two grown children, a wonderful grandson and a very spoiled rescue dog.
