Nathan Carey Fisher was born and raised in London, England, as part of the third generation of Jamaican immigrants. From a young age, his school teachers recognised Nathan as 'an articulate child with an inquiring mind,' and someone who 'likes to find out the reasons why,' noting his 'good observation skills'. All of these traits are undoubtedly significant factors that inspire his work today. In his early adulthood, Nathan realised that what underpinned his interests was the need for creative expression, and an enjoyment of examining details, though it wasn't until after graduating from university that he began to fully focus on this area of strength, which has led to a career as a writer, editor, and journalist.
