Amr Ali Ibrahim Al-Adly An Egyptian writer born in 1970, he holds a Master's degree in Sociology of Literature from Ain Shams University.

He has published 7 short story collections: Black Bread (2008) and Letters to the Sky (2009) by Malameh Publishing, The Tale of Yusuf Idris (2012) by the Egyptian General Book Organization, Franchi's World (2016) by Al-Riwaq Publishing, (and) (2017) by Kayan Publishing, The Heater Seller (2022) by Kayan Publishing, and Escape Outside the Head (2023) by Dar Al-Shorouk.

He has also published 9 novels: Yusuf's Seduction (2011) by Merit Publishing, Schindler's Catalog (2013) by Nahdet Misr Publishing, The Visit (2014) by Aktub Publishing, The Journey of the Unholy Family (2015) by The Egyptian-Lebanese Publishing House, My Name Is Fatima (2017) by The Egyptian-Lebanese Publishing House, Before Evening (2018) by The Egyptian-Lebanese Publishing House, Ghassan Kanafani's Men (2020) by Al-Dar Al-Arabiya Lil Kitab Library, The Glass Lady (2022) by Dar Al-Shorouk, and Maryam and Nermeen (2024) by Dar Al-Shorouk. • Sawiris Cultural Award (Senior Writers category) for his short story collection The Tale of Yusuf Idris (2015).
• Egyptian Writers' Union Prize for his novel The Unholy Family's Journey (2018).
• His novel The Lamp and the Bottle was longlisted for the Sheikh Zayed Book Award for Children's Literature (2018).
• His novel My Name Is Fatima was longlisted for the Sheikh Zayed Book Award for Literature (2019), and the same novel was also longlisted for the Sawiris Cultural Award (2020).
• His short story collection Escape Outside the Head won first place in the Tayeb Salih International Award for Creative Writing (2021).
