I was born in Amarillo, Texas, May 23, 1949 and have lived in Texas most of my life. I attended University of Texas at Austin most of my college life, but actually graduated from West Texas St. University. I have a law degree from U. of North Carolina and practised law for a couple of years before starting to write full-time. My first book was Bonds of Love, published under the name Lisa Gregory, in 1978. I have been married for 22 years and have a nineteen year old daughter who is an actress.
