Quick to right a wrong.
Quicker on the draw.
For twenty years, my job was helping folks by putting right what was wrong, until the influential corporation shut us down. Now I am outlawed and alone among the colony planets, playing the part of a space transport pilot. Being the last, I have a high price on my head.
So, what was I thinking when I agreed to help a stranded 10-year-old girl? This girl is more than what she seems; she is hunted because of her special gift. Now the vile corporation will stop at nothing to steal her back and unlock her secret.

Protecting her means confronting my past-which could be just as deadly-my very name attracts danger. With the full might of the well-funded corporation unleashed, space pirates in my way, armored mercenary commandos at every turn, and bounty hunters on my trail, I'd swear the galaxy itself is out to get me.

It will take more than a miracle to survive, it will take The Last Wayfinder!

Autorenporträt
I was born a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away...okay maybe notbut you've got to admit it would be pretty sweet to claim that! It would certainly make for a more interesting introduction. My name is Benjamin, and I love to tell stories of far away and the impossible. I enjoy a good Sci-Fi space opera or time travel novel. Additionally, I love reading fantasy novels. My first introduction into fantasy was Brandon Sanderson, and I fell in love with his books. I simply love Sanderson's Rules of Magic.

I write all my stories with clean language. When it comes to writing, a common piece of advice I've run into is to be "authentic". Stephen King called it "telling the truth", which in my humble opinion is just a euphemism for "use profanity". Well I disagree. It is so disappointing to have to put down a really good book because I can't take all the swear words that keep popping up from the page. Can one be "authentic" as well as clean? Why not? This is science fiction and fantasy; I can make up whatever words the characters use for "harsh language" and it doesn't have to offend me or my readers.
