The Letter is the story of a mother and daughter, told through reflection, discovery, and the unexpected power of finally asking the questions that have waited too long. It's a memoir, but it reads like a conversation. Sometimes tender, sometimes sharp, always honest. It's about the things we carry, the things we didn't say, and the quiet ways love can live beneath it all. And, it's about family. The imperfect family we all call our own.

Autorenporträt
Christine Merser is a marketing strategist, successful writer, and entrepreneur whose literary work spans both fictionand nonfiction. She is the author of Flight of the Starling, the first book in her trilogy exploring a woman's foray into black ops after her billionaire friend asks her to go to the Middle East to rescue his trafficked daughter, with the second installment set to launch in late 2025. She also shares personal reflections through her memoir writing, which has been published in numerous magazines over the past two decades. Christine is a passionate advocate for film and television as a medium for social change, particularly from a femaleperspective. As a film reviewer and podcast host for Her Screen Thoughts, she believes in the power of storytelling: "For me, film and television have always been a way to change hearts and minds without anger or discord. "Beyond her writing, Christine is a thought collaborator around women's roles in business. Her new book, Circles of Collaboration, explores a business philosophy rooted in the history of women's success through collaborative circles, where everyone brings their expertise in equal measure. The Letter is a deeply personal story about a mother's suicide attempt and the unraveling of their relationship-an experience that ultimately leads to liberation from the impossible expectation of being the daughter her mother would have loved.
