G. K. (Gilbert Keith) Chesterton (1874 - 1936) war ein englischer Schriftsteller und Journalist. Er ist heute vor allem bekannt durch eine Reihe von Kriminalromanen um die Figur Pater Brown. Sein kurzer Roman "Der Mann, der Donnerstag war" ist eine politische Satire, die der Phantastischen Literatur zugerechnet werden kann: Ein Komplott anarchistischer Terroristen am Anfang des 20.
