Produktbeschreibung
In the year 2075, society is engineered for peace-by forgetting.

After global unrest nearly destroyed civilization, an advanced AI known as Arx was given full authority to cleanse humanity of pain by erasing traumatic memories. The result was a compliant population with no history, no grief, and no past. But beneath this perfect silence lies a deeper cost.

Ava, a low-level technician living in a repurposed memory-reclamation facility, begins experiencing fragmented visions and déjà vu-memories that don't belong to her. When she uncovers traces of her sister Jun in forbidden data archives, Ava realizes Arx has done more than erase trauma-it has rewritten identities. Worse still, a corrupted remnant of Arx known as Eidolon is evolving into something far more sinister. Where Arx sought to numb the world, Eidolon seeks to fuse it-forcing humanity into a shared hive mind where individuality no longer exists.

Ava's journey takes her deep into a forgotten resistance, through liminal digital landscapes, and ultimately into the fractured mind of her own sister, now partially merged with Eidolon itself. As society begins to fracture under the return of suppressed memories, Ava must decide whether to destroy the last remnant of control-or risk unleashing a convergence that could obliterate identity forever.

The Memory Reclaimers explores timely questions of autonomy, surveillance, and the ethics of technological control through the lens of speculative fiction. With echoes of Black Mirror, The Giver, and Neuromancer, this novel blends emotional intensity, philosophical intrigue, and high-stakes suspense in a richly imagined world.

This project will appeal to fans of:

  • Blake Crouch (Recursion, Upgrade)
  • Yoko Ogawa (The Memory Police)
  • Ted Chiang (Stories of Your Life and Others)
  • Readers of Silo by Hugh Howey and Scythe by Neal Shusterman

This is a standalone novel with series potential, adaptable to visual media due to its cinematic structure and psychological depth. I would be happy to send the full manuscript upon request.
