About the Author

Diamone Skidmore,] is a writer, Artist, and multi-passionate creative with a deep love for music, the arts, and mental wellness. Originally from Louisiana and now based in Dallas, TX, she has a bachelor's degree in psychology and a heart for helping others navigate the challenges of mental health.

Her inspiration for The Mental Detox came from personal experience. As an RBT, she loves working with children, but the emotional and mental toll of the job often left her feeling overwhelmed and drained. She knew she needed a way to care for herself without walking away from her passion. In searching for solutions, she discovered powerful techniques that helped her reclaim balanceand now she's sharing them with the world.

Beyond her work in mental health, she's an artist at heart, expressing herself through singing, writing, cooking, painting, drawing, and even skating. Creativity isn't just a hobbyit's a way of life. And that passion extends into her writing. She envisions a future filled with books that inspire, encourage, and bring joy to readers of all ages, including a series of children's books designed to spark curiosity and imagination.

Her personal philosophy is best summed up by her favorite quote:
