Bram Stoker (1847-1912) was an Irish writer whose name became synonymous with Gothic literature and mystical horror. Born in Dublin, he graduated from Trinity College, after which he began a career as a civil servant. In parallel, he wrote theater reviews, which later led him to literature. In 1878, Stoker moved to London, where he began writing professionally. Although his books were popular, only one novel brought him immortality in literature: Dracula (1897), which became a classic of the genre.
