Nicholas Dick, Jr. (1934-2005) saw grueling combat action during the Korean War. This is his gripping autobiography told as only a soldier can tell it-from the foxhole. Despite his injuries, he survived to produce this provocative tale of men at war. Janet Dailey (1944-2013) was born Janet Haradon in Storm Lake, Iowa. She attended secretarial school in Omaha, Nebraska, before meeting her husband, Bill.
