When the team is called to a scene outside the high school with multiple deaths, they knew it was going to be bad.
Tyler is the cousin of their Lieutenant's new wife, and a veteran with PTSD. He tries to tell them a ghost made him do it.

"The ghost made him do it," Jamie muttered. "Yeah, this doesn't sound good at all."

Local legends speak of the 'shadow man', a dark shadow of a man with glowing red eyes. Some say it's the ghost of a pirate from the 1800s, others call it a demon, but the newest ghosts know it's what killed them and it's nothing good.

The dead are piling up and they're going to have to work with the Watchers to stop a serial killer ghost.

As more mass casualty events happen all over the city, with no logical connection, panic and fear take over. There's only one connection the shadow man and it's not one they can release to the public and still be taken seriously.

The race against time is a dead heat between the team and the entityand there's no guarantee the team will win.
