But we don't hear from him for a while, instead we hear from Capitana Carmen of the Guardia Civil. Pregnant, surprise!, with a second son born three months before an abduction in Pueblo. Her job now is to find Kitty Springer age 3, or at the very least find out what happened to her. A reasonably remote small hotel, just after Christmas, a little girl cannot be found in the middle of the night? Being British and the child of a well-known lawyer, the world is on the doorstep waiting for news. Then el Capo, aka el Sapo (the Toad), turns up and blames the father, saying he was angry and accidently killed Kitty. The press love it, but Carmen, aided by Jesús, does not believe it. So, the search continues.

Gheorghe and Big Dog, meanwhile, are on their way home to Spain when Gheorghe is also abducted thanks to his ability to heal horses' broken legs. Well, understandable, particularly if your life style requires horses as this band of travelling Roma does.

And don't make me tell you it all ends happily, because you have to read it to know that! Besides, you get two kidnappings for the price of one!

And Juan in LEC? He's having a lovely, laughing time with three Giants, Ignat, Tinga and Agtin.
